The NEMA 4X IO35 computer enclosure is formed and fully welded with type 304 stainless-steel and a vertical #3F finish. This enclosure features a built-in keyboard drawer to store a desktop or industrial keyboard and mouse. The roll-out keyboard tray – with two quarter turn compression latches – measures 3″ High by 22.62″ Wide x 9.88″ Deep.

The IO35-4X measures 35” High by 28” Wide by 12” Deep with a 25.5” diagonal window measuring 13.75” High by 21.5” Wide. ITSENCLOSURES offers tempered safety glass or polycarbonate window options for the front door. The stainless-steel door panel includes concealed hinges and two quarter turn screwdriver style latches (key locking latches are also available). A monitor sized up to 25-inches can be installed to the internal VESA mount, which is part of the vertical support bracket. The bracket is used to tip out and install the PC/monitor. The chassis includes a 100-cfm re-circulating fan.

Pleasant, PA (January 9, 2019) – ITSENCLOSURES, the leader of American made industrial printer cabinets for barcode printers and desktop printers, has announced the latest product in a long line of high-quality printer enclosures: the PB282626-04, a NEMA 4 cabinet that protects and guards against dust, dirt, grease, hose directed water, and most weather conditions like rain and snow.

The printer enclosure is designed to shield desktop laser printers (such as Brother, Canon, HP, and Ricoh) and thermal transfer label printers (such as Zebra, Cognitive, Honeywell, and Intermec), on dusty, dirty, and wet factory floors. The PB28-04 enclosure is fabricated out of 14-gauge painted steel and the outside dimensions measure 28” high by 26” wide by 26” deep. The maximum printer dimensions, for the printer enclosure, are 18” high by 20” wide by 21” deep.

The PB28-04 front door features quarter turn knob-style compression latches and durable dual durometer EPDM gasket. The rear door is lockable and has a 22.0” high by 22.5” wide opening. Mt. Pleasant, PA (June 29, 2018) – Designing and developing the most durable enclosures on the market, ITSENCLOSURES has announced another tough, heavy-duty enclosure: the IceStation IR262428-12, a NEMA 12 desktop rack enclosure.

The IceStation IR26 rack enclosure is designed to shield and protect rack mountable electronics in harsh and dirty factory facilities. The IR26-12 is fabricated out of 14-gauge painted steel (black powder coated) and measures 26” high by 24” wide by 28” deep.

The interior of the rack enclosure features front and rear mounting rails which are square punched for use with cage nuts. The total interior space is 12U, which is approximately 21” high.

The IR26 has lockable front and rear doors for protection from the elements and includes lift and turn compression latches. The front door of the rack enclosure includes a polycarbonate window.

Originally founded in 1972, Chefette Restaurants, the largest quick service restaurant in the Caribbean island nation of Barbados, operates 15 locations across the island of Barbados and employs over 850 people. Chefette deployed its first round of digital signage in the first quarter of 2013 at 10 drive-thru locations. The deployment included indoor and outdoor digital signage in portrait orientation and consisted of a mix of triple screen outdoor menu boards and single display pre-sale digital boards, both with 46-inch high-bright monitors. Because of the heat (average temperature is 80° F) and humidity that exists on the island, the outdoor LCD enclosures required air-conditioners installed on the rear of each unit.

The grand opening of Chefette’s brand-new location in Lancaster was September 15^th, 2017. The company’s website noted “Chefette’s newest branch is located in Lancaster, St. James, just off Highway 2A. This beautiful facility expands upon the modern designs seen at our Warrens and Welches branches and features a drive-thru, Double MEGA 3-Story Playground and ice cream parlor.” According to the news article, ‘Barbados needs Chefette now more than ever,’ the new location “sits on over 8,000 square feet of land, can seat about 170 people and offers parking space for about 40 vehicles.”

Chefette’s Lancaster store deployed a single and triple screen digital signage menu board paired with 47-inch high bright monitors. Utilizing the latest technology, ITSENCLOSURES’ fan cooled digital menu boards boast a 66% energy consumption reduction, compared to the compressor based enclosures originally installed in 2013.  Each enclosure is branded with the company’s logo and powder coated in the company’s signature color purple. Since the original deployment in 2013, ITSENCLOSURES’ new generation of outdoor digital menu boards are thinner, sleeker, and more energy efficient. To reduce  frequent enclosure maintenance, the menu boards employ a hydrophobic air filter to keep out dust and dirt, and only need to be replaced every 3-5 years. Chefette also installed commercial grade 48-inch monitors indoors to serve as menu boards and promotional tools.

Mt. Pleasant, Pa (August 30, 2017) – With a proven digital track record for over a decade, ITSENCLOSURES continues to deploy outdoor digital signage across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. The most recent installation occurred, this month, at Ohio Stadium, the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The project took approximately 8 months from start to finish. In December of 2016, The Ohio State University (OSU), located in Columbus, Ohio, contacted ITSENCLOSURES regarding a potential new project for the university’s football stadium. OSU received the necessary funding for the digital signage project in the first quarter of 2017. With competition from two other enclosure manufacturers, ITSENCLOSURES won the business and secured the project based on cost, enclosure quality, and a previous successful relationship.

The digital signage project consisted of 28 passively cooled/vented ViewStation LCD enclosures that house 79-inch monitors. The majority (26) of the enclosures are mounted back-to-back on an I-beam to display game statistics in real time. Two additional enclosures are mounted to the wall. With the 28 recently installed enclosures, Ohio State University now has over 200 ITSENCLOSURES’ LCD enclosures mounted throughout the football stadium.

Before the units were fabricated, ITSENCLOSURES’ engineering team worked hand and hand with OSU to provide the necessary weights and loads of the enclosures. This data was needed to apply for the permits to install the lcd enclosures, in the stadium, prior to the 2017 football season. For fan protection and as a precaution against vibration, OSU installed safety chains attached to the I-beams for the dual-sided enclosures.

With football season right around the corner, the enclosures were installed the second week of August 2017. The first home game will take place on Saturday, September 9^th against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The durable enclosures are shielded from any direct weather exposure, so ITSENCLOSURES was able to provide a vented LCD enclosure solution. The enclosure window is constructed out of an anti-glare, polycarbonate material.

The new digital signage screens replaced old, static game boards that displayed statistics for the fans.

Opening a new location and wanting it to be state-of-the-art, Backyard Taco contacted ITSENCLOSURES about installing a dynamic, digital signage menu board in the drive-thru. The outdoor digital menu board incorporates three high bright LCDs (2,000 nit) in portrait orientation. Already utilizing digital menu boards on the inside of the restaurant and in portrait orientation too, Backyard Taco was able to use the same menu content on the outside, thus saving time and money for the restaurant.

ITSENCLOSURES solution utilized three 47” monitors and a 6,000 BTU air conditioner to combat the hot, desert weather found in Arizona for most of the calendar year, especially during the Summer months. To provide a water tight seal, the digital signage body (powder coated light brown) is marine grade aluminum and welded aluminum. The large viewing window is laminated glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides, providing 99% light transmission and UV protection. In addition, the front cover is hinged at the top and supported by gas springs for front access to all three displays. A rear door provides access to internal electronics, as well as, power and data entry locations. Specific, heavy-duty gasket is installed around the glass to keep the cool air inside of the digital signage and prevent the enclosure glass from fogging up.

Royal Sign Company, located in Phoenix, Arizona, was hired by Backyard Taco to install the digital signage boards in the drive-thru. ITSENCLOSURES supplied the sign company with directions on how to install the 3×1, including the size of the footer, location of anchor bolts, and running the electric and the Cat 5 cables properly.
